I guess everyone should have heard of “Sport Relief” by now..if not, you either don’t live in UK or you are not living at all. So basically the only important news since last time I posted something was the new AC/DC album and the date which new G&R album is getting released. I know a true Metallica fan shouldn’t like G&R but come on I’m a true BMW and Porsche fan but I drive a Merc. Can’t really hide the fact that they are really nice cars. On the other hand METALLICA ROCKS MORE THAN ANY OTHER BAND IN THE WORLD AND THAT IS A FACT OF LIFE.

So back to the title of my post. When I was on top of the world with no worries in my mind other that what would happen to Optimus on next episode of transformers and whether He-man would finally get the Skeleton,.. we had this lesson at our schools about a wise man who wanted to learn something on his last moments of life. Basically the wise man told the stupid guy: “start learning from day one till you die” by the way this is not a word by word translation but anyway that’s not the point.

The point is “What the hell he was thinking saying that!” and why on earth it should have been in our books? come on..do you really think that’s something you need to tell people about it? Ok I need to chill out a bit, I’m a bit “angry” today so maybe I shouldn’t really pick on our stupid education system…

To be honest I’m just angry, I am quire pissed off… again I can’t really talk about it but the question is why??? Oh F…it let’s talk about something else.

Ok, have you seen the new Ferrari California? Is Ferrari going to Hyundai to come up with new designs? Is this the new cost saving plan? Do you guys want to save money to be able to save your F1 engines? Damn, today I’m listening to some good songs. You know a good song is like a good girl who knows how to take care of you, what to say and when to say it. I used to hate “Nirvana” before but now I’m one of their biggest fans, when I know I can’t really go to a dead man’s concert but at least I’m saving some money.

Oh did I say it; no I didn’t, I’ve started a new book, it’s called “Deep Simplicity” by John Gribbin. I’ll write a full review of it when I’ve passed the page 5 of the book! All I can say, so far so good, right to my taste.

Now, I gotta hunt some chicken trapped in my oven.

Good old angry man

Basically in last few years F1 has turned into this boring predictable fashion celebrities attraction mega super rich sport (what ever that means). The only times it has gone interesting, not predictable with loads of over takings and proper races, has been rainy times. I think it has gone so boring that not only all those super competitive drivers who come from GP2 lose their racing instincts,  there will be 100% an investigations if 2 overtaking happen on the same day! The judges think: Hmm there has been some over taking today, somebody must have not followed the rules..let’s investigate the car number…

Just look at the results from last couple of races, completely unpredictable, even like in the last lap we had over takings and just because of the rain. Look at the results of today’s qualifying: Toro Rosso with 21 years old Vettel on pole position! How cool is that? Kimi 14th, Hamilton 16th!!Mark Webber 3rd!!!! So thanks you rain for bringing back life to F1, thank you for embarrassing Ferrari in front of home crowd and thank you for reminding Mclaren that they are actually not that good, just a change in conditions and they loose everything.

So, knowing that, I came up with some solutions to make F1 even more exciting:

• On every race without telling team, simply wet the track at random times, so they have to go and change tyres and actually use their brains

• Maybe it is actually good to change the drivers on every race. So each driver has the chance to drive every car (you are welcome Jenson!) Which means teams have to work even harder and car setup should be easy to change

• Just send everyone to watch MotoGP,GP2 or just normal track day. This way they might remember what the race is all about
• If you don’t over take,you go to jail!

• Don’t let any celebrity into the pit late unless they at least know that cars have 4 wheels and under the bonnet there is this thing called engine

• Take a test drive from marshals, get rid if the ones who can’t drive fast enough

• Make me the F1 new boss and give shares to “News of the world”!

• Put a picture of a naked hot girl on the car’s side/body panel, so the only way to see it for other drivers would be over taking the cars

• Just get rid of the pitstop, make them to use the tyres which last for the whole race and bigger fuel tanks.

I guess that’s it really, me going to the gym

• 10% reduction in mechanical losses leads to 1.5% reduction in fuel consumption

• Only the engine is causing 41% of total mechanical losses in car

• Engine parts including piton assembly, valvetrain, cranktrain and bearing cause 77 % of total engine friction losses

• Piston assembly is causing 35% of total engine friction

• Piston assembly friction is dominated by ring friction (45%)

• Valveetrain and Cranktrain create 34% of total engine friction losses

• Crank shaft is responsible for 15% of valve and cranktrain friction losses

• The front and rear crankshaft bearing seals are causing 20% of total crankshaft friction losses

• Water pump, oil pump and alternator together compromise 20% of total engine friction losses

• The science to deal with and solve these problems is called Tribo-Engineering

• Some of the best solutions are: better lube system, coating, textured surfaces, lighter parts and lighter valvetrain spring loads.

Credit crunch, recession, lowest home sales for years, war, ever increasing crime, high fuel prices, terrorism, pollution, global warming, bird flu, hurricane, flood, increasing food prices, iphone, immigration, kidnapping, G-Wiz, not enough prisons, expensive F1 tickets, overheating laptops, hunger and ….are only some of the world problems today! So many people, from philosophers all the way down to monkeys, have been trying to solve these problems (By trying I mean at least pretending) but not only nothing has been changed, everything has got even worse. People are less happy, cost of living has gone higher and worst of all F1 has turned from a race into a game!!!

But not to worry, I have found a solution. I have found a right breed of people who can solve the world problems and fix everything so everyone everywhere can have a happy life. They are called: Engineers.

I realised the only thing which has the highest rate of evolution, is technology. Throughout the time, engineers have proven that no matter the economical or regional problems we have, there is a solution and a way forward. Just look at everything around you (except iphone which is developed by hair dressers and G-Wiz which is developed by monkeys so they can eat it when they get hungry) everything else is engineered and is most certainly working better that what we used to have 20 years ago.

So let’s get rid of politicians and have engineers moving forward the world, this way we don’t have time or money to think about war. All the money would go to R&D to develop new technologies. Everything would be on time and there is always a backup plan. Unlike politicians, engineers enjoy what they do and don’t just do it for fame or power. So yeah basically if you want your grand children to have a better life, send your kids to engineering courses so they actually learn something!

Soo..yeah vote for me!
